Screen Truepress Jet520 Expands Transpromo Printing Business

Monday 10. September 2012 - Transpromotional printing is still relatively new in Brazil, but practitioners like Print Laser have embraced the transpromo phenomenon with a passion. Print Laser ushered Brazil into the practice of blending promotional offers with transactional documents. The company, headquartered in São Paulo, overcame initial challenges to become the premier supplier, catering to major corporations in the communications, financial services and insurance industries.

Every year, Print Laser’s six plants produce 2 billion transactional documents. Alexandre Batista, vice president of marketing, says nonstop document production is imperative. Print Laser installed the first of two Truepress Jet520 inkjet web presses in late 2008. It was joined in 2010 by a second Truepress Jet520. Two duplex lines consisting of four print engines operate around the clock at Print Laser’s headquarters facility. The presses deliver full-color personalized communications at high volumes with no downtime.
