NEWMAN LABELLING APPOINTS NEW EUROPEAN SALES MANAGER
Monday 03. September 2012 - Rob Toolen has been appointed as European Sales Manager for Newman Labelling Systems, a leading supplier of specialist pharmaceutical labelling systems.
Rob joins Newman from self adhesive labelling company HERMA where he was employed in Territory Sales. Prior to this, Rob spent ten years at coding and marking printer manufacturer Linx Printing, starting as an engineer and moving to sales and new business development.
Rob was keen to broaden his experience in the packaging industry and seek new challenges, making the position of European Sales Manager at Newman Labelling Systems an attractive proposition. “The pharmaceutical sector involves considerably more legislation and regulations to be adhered to than I have previously been used to. It makes for a more challenging and interesting role. I am looking forward to embracing these aspects of the job and developing my knowledge of the pharmaceutical packaging industry.”
Newman Labelling Systems Managing Director, John Clayton, comments on his company’s latest appointment: “Rob’s wide experience within the packaging and related industries made him an ideal candidate for the role of European Sales Manager. His skills and enthusiasm will enable Newman to continue to expand the business into a wider European region, in particular with German OEM partners with whom we have already begun to establish relationships.”
Established in 1943, Newman Labelling Systems has built an enviable reputation for high quality labelling equipment to the very specialised pharmaceutical market. The combination of quality of service, accuracy and reliability of equipment, quality and speed of validation, plus the capability of engineers and staff experience, has led the company to develop a customer base including the world’s top ten pharmaceutical companies.
Newman Labelling Systems’ purpose built systems are fully compliant with FDA cGMP requirements and can be supplied with validation completed up to PQ.
