X-Rite Announces Two Free August Webinars

X-Rite Photo Marketing announces its schedule of August 2012 Webinars that have been developed to address specific color management topics and are designed to appeal to both professional and serious amateur photographers.
Two free Webinars this month are sure to help photographers gain new confidence and to learn quick, easy and powerful ways to enhance their color workflow and improve their portrait photography. Webinar attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions to the live trainers.

Photographer and educator Joe Brady will guide attendees step-by-step through techniques that will add shape, beauty and polish to portrait photographs using Adobe Photoshop CS6. During this hour long webinar, Joe will share tips, tools and techniques that can be added to a photographer’s portrait editing toolkit that they can put to use right away.

Setting the Mood & Creating the “Look” You Want with Brian Smith
In this special webinar, co-sponsored by X-Rite and Sony, Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Brian Smith shares lessons he has learned in 30 years of photographing the famous, infamous, and un-famous. Attendees will also get a preview from his new book Secrets of Great Portrait Photography. Brian will show how to create the right look for any shoot whether done “in camera” by choice of lens and lighting or in post-processing. He will explain how the look of an image sets the mood and how to tailor that mood to match each project. Brian will speak about the importance of color management in his workflow to ensure that images in print match the photographer’s vision.
