Falconer swoops in to take a Polar 115
Friday 24. August 2012 - Falconer Printing & Packaging has continued its investment with Heidelberg, taking a Polar 115 guillotine to prepare boards and papers for production.
“We will use this cutter to halve and quarter sheet stock. The format makes it very flexible and the machine is robust enabling it to handle a broad range of papers and boards efficiently and with no Health & Safety fears,” says Hadyn Bradbury, managing director of Falconer.
The company has also added a stacklift to take the grind and physical stress out of the movement of heavy boards into the feeder table of the guillotine.
This investment follows the installation earlier this year of the UK’s first Diana X folder gluer with a braille unit for its pharmaceutical packaging work.
“We have invested and will continue to invest, on an on-going basis, to maintain the quality of product and service, to our customers and enhance the growth we have achieved, over the last few years,” says Mr Bradbury.
Falconer Print and Packaging produces cartons also for the healthcare, cosmetic and giftware market sectors
