Postmedia Network Selects a New Home in Downtown Toronto
Monday 20. August 2012 - Postmedia Network Inc. today announced it has entered into a lease agreement with 365 Bloor Street East in downtown Toronto. The building will be renamed by Postmedia.
“Our new head office will provide us with a modern and innovative space that will give us a strategic and convenient location for our business and a great working environment for employees,” said Paul Godfrey, President and Chief Executive Officer, Postmedia. “We look forward to the energy of a downtown location, located near many of our largest clients in a space that is custom-tailored to suit our needs.”
Postmedia has signed a 15-year lease that commences on December 1, 2013 for space on several floors of the 19-storey building and includes signage rights on all four sides of its exterior. The new space will house Postmedia’s corporate head office, integrated advertising and digital groups and the National Post.
“We are thrilled to have Postmedia and National Post as anchor tenants at our recently repositioned downtown building,” said Michael Latner, one of the building owners. “365 Bloor East has been reengineered and restored to a new modern corporate standard and we are pleased that Postmedia has selected it as its new home.”
Colliers International, Canada’s largest commercial real estate services company, acted as representatives of both Postmedia and 365 Bloor East in connection with the lease.
