GMC Software Technology Expands Professional Services Organization to Support Demand for Banking and Insurance Projects

Wednesday 25. July 2012 - GMC Software Technology, a leading provider of customer communications and output management solutions, today announced a major expansion of the professional services team to support increasing demand for banking and insurance projects. Specifically, the expanded team is currently working on a number of projects migrating legacy applications to GMC Inspire, the company's Customer Communications Management (CCM) solution.

As a result, these GMC clients can leverage their investments in legacy applications and engage in personalized, multichannel customer communications.
“In banking and insurance markets, legacy applications can present a significant barrier to acquiring, engaging and retaining customers,” said Michael Watts, Chief Operating Officer at GMC Software Technology. “With our new expanded team in place, we can efficiently migrate legacy applications onto the GMC Inspire platform, allowing businesses to avoid costly parallel development, rebuilding data structures, content and business logic.”
Stralfors, a provider of end-to-end information logistics solutions, recently invested in a worldwide site license for GMC Inspire. The company is currently working with GMC’s extended professional services team to migrate 170 of their clients from banking, insurance and other industries and approximately 650 legacy applications on to the GMC platform.
Once applications have been migrated to GMC Inspire, legacy data and content can be mined and repurposed to enhance customer communications. These migrated applications can then include highly personalized content, color, graphics, images, charts and multichannel delivery. In addition, businesses operating in highly regulated industries can better control content to ensure compliance and brand consistency.
