Epson’s new flatbed scanners include a robust feature set for high performance scanning, including scan-to-searchable PDF and a powerful software suite that includes EPSON Scan and ABBYY( )FineReader( )Sprint OCR. The scanners are also equipped with an ultrasonic double-feed detector, which automatically stops the scanning process if two pages are stuck together. The scanners also include a four-line CCD (RGB and Black) for excellent image quality and fast speeds in both color and black-and-white original scan modes, and provide users with the continuously variable color enhancement and color dropout for great control of the scanned image regardless of the original document color scheme.
