Regarding the Safety of Ricoh Products from Risk of Radioactive Contamination
Friday 29. April 2011 - We understand and appreciate the concerns expressed by customers and partners relating to potential radiation risks associated. Please know that we take these concerns very seriously and continue to focus on these and other issues arising from the tragic events in Japan.
With respect to radiation, we are pleased to confirm that there are no Ricoh facilities located within the exclusion zone stipulated by the Japanese Government.
We are, however, currently monitoring the status and safety of Ricoh products shipped overseas for radiation. These precautionary measures are taken in an effort to ensure that all products are safe for shipment.
We hope that this update addresses any concerns that our customers and partners may have at this time. We will be pleased to provide additional information in the event of any further developments.
