2011 Graphic Users Association Conference to Focus on Helping Kodak’s Customers Grow Their Businesses to New Heights

Friday 29. April 2011 - In June, Kodak’s customers from the commercial printing, publishing and packaging industries will gather at the annual Graphic Users Association (GUA) North American Conference to learn about new solutions, best practices, and ways to maximize their current and future investments. Themed "Growing to New Heights," the event takes place June 6-10 at the InterContinental Hotel in New Orleans.

“GUA members want content that will help them differentiate their businesses, better satisfy their clients, and improve their bottom lines,” said Tom Clifford, President, GUA. “The GUA conference provides insight on all of those topics, delivered in an environment of networking and knowledge sharing among peers.”
Sponsored by Kodak and managed by the GUA Board, the GUA Conference is open to all users of KODAK Solutions and Services. Attendees are able to connect directly with Kodak’s Solution managers and executives during educational sessions on key industry trends. Attendees will hear about trends and solutions in digital print, workflow, packaging, integrated marketing campaigns, and services. Session topics include:
Tools to Grow Your Business
Tips and Tricks
Optimize Your Workflow

Enabling Revenue Growth
“The ability for customers to have one-on-one conversations with Kodak’s solution managers and executives sets the GUA Conference apart each year,” said Clifford. “The GUA University Classes, roundtable discussions, and focused time with Kodak’s technical personnel represent valuable resources that can improve productivity and profitability among attendees’ businesses.”
The first two days of the conference, June 6 and 7, are dedicated to GUA University Classes. The classes offer in-depth information on Kodak’s solutions and services including hands-on learning in small class sizes taught by industry-leading instructors. This year, the number of classes offered has increased and a new class, Optimizing Your KODAK PRINERGY Workflow Administration, has been added. Additional courses will cover topics such as Rules-Based Automation (RBA) For Beginners, RBA Advanced, KODAK PREPS Imposition Software, and KODAK COLORFLOW Software.
“Now more than ever our customers are seeking products and solutions that maximize their investments and opportunities to grow their business,” said Michele Laird-Williams, Customer Marketing Manager, Packaging Segment and Service, Americas Region, and GUA Executive Director. “Because the GUA Conference is organized and managed by customers, the content is specifically targeted and relevant for the issues they face every day.”
Attendees of the GUA Conference will receive a $3,000 U.S. dollars (USD) credit toward the purchase of KODAK Solutions. A company sending more than one attendee is eligible to receive up to three credits for a value up to $9,000 USD. The offer expires on November 30, 2011.
