Print, Online Audiences on the Rise

Monday 25. April 2011 - The numbers are in and the Sun Sentinel’s audience has grown!

The latest research survey from Scarborough shows*:
Growth in Sun Sentinel daily print readership (up 5.5%)
Growth in Sun Sentinel Sunday print readership (up 2.6%)
Growth online on SunSentinel.com audience (up 18%)
And growth in some key print Forum Publishing Group (FPG) products** (up 9.7%)
In fact, Sun Sentinel Company products’ reach, combined with WSFL-TV, is up 9% in the South Florida market.
We’ve all heard the challenges that face the newspaper industry, but these new numbers from Scarborough buck the trend. “Even as we expand further into the digital world, it’s apparent that there’s still an engaged audience for quality print publications,” said Sun Sentinel President and Publisher Howard Greenberg.
