Friday 22. April 2011 - Thanks to an innovative Groupon deal featuring General Mills brands, trying favorite grocery store products - from Fiber One chewy bars to a Wanchai Ferry dinner kit - has never been easier.

With a Groupon offer issued today, residents of Minneapolis and San Francisco can sample their favorite General Mills brand items when they take advantage of a 50% off deal that delivers over $40 in value to their doorstep for $20. The package also includes a General Mills $15 coupon book and is good while supplies last.

General Mills may pursue future daily deals with Groupon once both sides evaluate the results of the test offers in Minneapolis and San Francisco, Trimble explained. “This is an exciting deal structure that could grow and expand to a variety of promotions and tailored consumer offers,” he said.
