The David among automatic bag-sealing machines

Monday 18. April 2011 - mini-BagBoy 400 from joke: versatile and economical for small production runs

Electrical components of different sizes or pharmaceutical accessories – whenever different items need packing, the mini-BagBoy from joke Folienschweißtechnik is the right choice. The compact bag-sealing machine is small, can be intuitively operated, is easy to service and produces even small production runs of different bag sizes. The ideal solution for manufacturers of small components and different tasks in the automobile industry, medical engineering, in clean rooms, in workshops for the handicapped or for packagers.
Convincing in its price/performance ratio
“1000 plastic bags are expensive, 100,000 are cheap” – this phenomenon is familiar to any company that needs to pack small components. A cost explosion threatens particularly when different sizes are called for. The solution to the problem is provided by joke Folienschweißtechnik and goes by the name of the mini-BagBoy 400. Slightly larger than a desktop copier, the bag-sealing machine is characterised by its high flexibility and its both rapid and simple operation. It manufactures bottom-seam bags within the smallest space and only requires a 230-volt power supply for the purpose – no compressed air. The automatic bag-sealing machine nevertheless offers the latest state-of-the-art technology: scissor-cut blade, stepping motors for precise forward feed with exact bag lengths and a pulse-heated sealing bar. The quality is particularly evident in the details: the device for the film rolls is highly simple to operate and is almost indestructible. German machine building at its best.
Operation is child’s play
All parameters for bag production such as forward feed length, throughput, sealing time and number of items can be configured using a touch screen. Bag sizes up to a width of 400 millimetres and lengths of between 15 millimetres and 4 metres can therefore be produced. The film rolls can be changed in a few simple steps. Several rolls can also be simultaneously clamped in the mini-BagBoy 400, thereby allowing production of several film-width bags. The applications know only one limit up to now: one’s own imagination… whether UV-proof packaging for cytostatic infusion lines, antistatic bags for PCB’s and other sensitive electronic components or handles and screws for furniture manufacturers are involved – the compact automatic bag-sealing machine is employed here. There is still room for the device even on the smallest workbench and it is even mobile when mounted on a trolley.
Technical data:
