Linear labellers in CLEAN design / Hotmelt and hot filling for rotary labellers
Monday 18. April 2011 - There are two novelties that will be presented by LANGGUTH on the exhibition stand of INTERPACK. The first innovation is a rotary labeller type hotLAN which equips PET bottles with film labels of different shapes using hotmelt; additionally a self-adhesive labelling aggregate type selfLAN has been integrated.
“What makes it different is that the actually instable plastic containers are treated with hot filling which requires a special handling due to the increased instability of the containers. Here our engineers found a solution to guide these challenging containers reliably and safely through the machine”, emphasizes general manager Klaus Pekruhl.
Secondly three linear labellers, which are equipped with a complete casing in the new CLEAN design, will be shown. The benefits for the customer are increased safety and easier cleaning.
For this design the LANGGUTH specialists displaced the control cabinets into the upper area of the machines and created an open construction with big doors. Access to the machines is therefore very easy and contaminations are well visible and can therefore be removed without any problems. Consequently, the LANGGUTH machines do not only meet the international standards of hygiene and safety but even exceed them in most cases. “For the first time we have realized CLEAN design last year. Meanwhile we recognized considerable success so that it has become a characteristic feature of our high quality demand”, points out Pekruhl. In detail, a wet glue labeller type wetLAN for jars with a self-adhesive labelling aggregate for seal labels, a labelling machine type hotLAN for cans working with hotmelt as well as a self-adhesive labeller for pails will be presented in CLEAN design. The pail labeller is prefitted for the installation of a second labelling station and for the application of lid labels.
All machines are designed in module construction and can therefore be optimally adjusted to customer requirements.
