American Media, Inc. Names Ron Minutella Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis

Tuesday 12. April 2011 - AMI Chairman, President and CEO, David J. Pecker, announced today that Ron Minutella has been named Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis.

In his new role, Mr. Minutella will head up AMI’s financial planning and analysis department.
“With more than 30 years of experience, Ron is the perfect candidate to manage our planning department. His wide range of experience in the magazine publishing industry will contribute to our continued success,” said Mr. Pecker.
Mr. Minutella has an extensive background in publishing, having led the financial planning department at Hachette Filipacchi, leading such titles as Elle, Car and Driver and Road & Track.
Mr. Minutella commented, “I am excited to join David Pecker and his senior management team at such an exciting time for AMI. I have known and worked with David for nearly 30 years; he is an exceptional CEO and I believe I can help him manage the business as it continues to evolve and grow.”

Mr. Minutella will report to Chris Polimeni effective today.
