InfoPrint Solutions Company, a Ricoh company, today unveiled its Automated Document Factory (ADF) Output Management solution, a powerful update to its market-leading InfoPrint ProcessDirector workflow platform. This newest offering enables greater document and Service Level Agreement (SLA) tracking, broadens support for multi-site environments and enables comprehensive reporting capabilities. These features allow for more power and flexibility in each production print environment while maintaining granular operational control and tracking of turnaround times. This solution will be on display at the On Demand Expo in Washington D.C. from March 22-24 in the InfoPrint Solutions booth #2601.
At Gulf Print and Pack, Dubai, 14 – 17 March 2011, Giffin Graphics and InfoPrint Solutions executives will be jointly demonstrating the InfoPrint Pro C901 Graphics Arts Edition cutsheet colour printer, InfoPrint industrial printing solutions and talking to delegates about the power of digital colour at booth E330.
InfoPrint Solutions ADF Output Management solution is an ideal tool for print and mail room operators who must maintain high levels of flexibility and integrity to address any unexpected changes without adding staff, shifts or additional equipment. By implementing this solution, operators can easily move jobs across printers from many vendors, datastreams and sites to improve asset utilization – enabling cost savings and improving business and operational results.
Additional InfoPrint ProcessDirector features for ADF Output Management provide customers:
New Advanced Transform Feature with indexable transform tools that allow document level manipulation for any PCL, PDF, PS or Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) environment, giving users the ability to efficiently drive any type of output device.
Ability to automatically track end-to-end performance using the service level agreement (SLA) add-on to see when jobs are on time, late or in jeopardy — even for jobs that have not entered the system.
New reporting interface, with additional functionality to allow customers to automate reports and export for audit and management purposes.
Improved performance capabilities including optimization for 64-bit computing.
InfoPrint ProcessDirector’s ADF Output Management release is available on Windows, AIX or Linux. It provides significant enhancements for tracking, scheduling, reporting and transforming. With these enhancements, the solution extends its centralized point of control to provide document-level manipulation for any PCL, PDF, PS or Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) environment. “Stemming from our heritage as an IBM company, InfoPrint Solutions has consistently maintained a leadership position in the development, implementation and innovations around print-to-mail workflow technology. This latest enhancement is no different,” said Enrico Parodi, Vice President of Software and Services, InfoPrint Solutions. “With this, we have addressed multiple customer pain points such as the inability to track and manage multiple data streams, missed SLAs, lack of reporting and much more. This is a clear demonstration of the resources we will continue to dedicate to enhancing our solutions based on the needs of our customers.”
