On March 18, it was time again to recognize Bonnier’s best sales staff at the Bonnier Sales Awards. The winners were announced at a gala dinner at Stockholm’s City Hall, famous as the site of the Nobel Awards dinner. Guests at the Bonnier Sales Awards were treated to the same menu the Nobel Prize winners dined on..
Here are the winners and the jury’s rationale:
Rookie of the Year: Julia Forsberg, Bonnier Publications Sverige
“Julia Forsberg’s humble attitude paired with great energy and an eagerness to learn led to the extraordinary performance this year. With a thoroughness and a winning personality that leaves no one untouched, Julia has achieved impressive results during her short period as a member of the sales team.”
The prize is worth EUR 3,000 euro and a place at Bonnier’s inspirational conference GRID.
Finalists in the category were Johan Danielsson, Bonnier Tidskrifter and Rikard Sjöberg, TV4 Sverige.
Sales Manager of the Year: Trond Juliussen, Bonnier Media
“With great enthusiasm and professionalism, Trond Juliussen has taken his sales team of 21 members to a new level, managing to exceed market growth by more than 30 percent. An achievement so extraordinary that Trond was the first from his type of media to be elected as the winner of Mind Shares Purple People Award. With a creative mind and a willingness to let others prosper, the jury was stunned by his performance in 2010.”
The prize is worth EUR 10,000.
Finalists included Johan Fernqvist, TV4, Andreas Sandin, Dagens Nyheter and Mats Ståhl, TV4.

With wide experience and vast knowledge, Johan is considered the right choice by both advertisers and colleagues. The jury had a hard time understanding when he found the time to sleep with almost 500 customer meetings during 2010.”
The prize is worth 10,000 euro.
Finalists included Linus Andersson, Dagens industri, Lauri Ogawa, MTV3, Sara Schiano, Bonnier Corporation and Ann Skånberg, TV4 Sverige.
