Baldwin Japan Appoints New President
Thursday 17. March 2011 - Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. (NYSE Amex: BLD), a global leader in process automation technology for the print media industry, announced that it has named Mr. Ryohei Maeda as President and General Manager of Baldwin Japan Limited, effective immediately.
Company President and CEO Mark T. Becker said, “We are pleased to have Ryohei (Roy) join Baldwin to lead our Japan regional team in delivery of world-class products and services to our customers in Baldwin Japans markets. Roy brings to Baldwin extensive experience from his recent position as Managing Director of Alcoa Wheel Products Japan Ltd. and over 20 years experience in various management positions with NEC Corporation. Educated as an Industrial and Mechanical engineer in both Japan and the U.S., Roy is aligned with the Baldwin priority of providing cutting edge product technology to drive benefits for our customers. Mr. Maeda will report to me in his new role.”
“We also thank Mr. Akira Hara, who has been interim President since last August, for his dedicated guidance and management of Baldwin Japan over these last eight months. Mr. Hara will continue to support us as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baldwin Japan.”
