Ricoh to demonstrate value added printing at Northprint 2011

Thursday 10. March 2011 - Exhibiting at Northprint for the second time, Ricoh UK will showcase its latest hardware and software solutions, demonstrating how it can help print providers win business, increase margins and add value to their own customer offerings.

Ricoh will show its flagship Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition high speed digital colour production system with CREO server, and Pro C901S scanning version with EFI Fiery server, capable of 90 pages per minute – the fastest colour production press in its class. Visitors will be able to witness first-hand the digital colour output quality of the Pro C901, as Ricoh undertakes the print production of the Northprint Daily in cooperation with IIR, PrintWeek and its Daily partners. Ricoh will also unveil its very latest technology to the UK market for the first time.
Also on the stand will be the market leading Ricoh Pro1357EX and Pro1357 black and white digital devices, developed to accelerate production workflows at an optimal total cost of ownership, and the Ricoh AficioMP W2401 mono and Stylus Pro 9700 colour large format printers.
Ricoh’s comprehensive range of software solutions will feature prominently, including Ricoh’s NowPrint Software as a Service (SaaS) web-to-print solution along with its colour management product, Ready4Print ColourServer. Also within the product line-up will be Ricoh’s comprehensive output management software package, Barr Enterprise Output Manager (EOM), which has been added to its production printing service and software portfolio TotalFlow, to help organisations centrally manage their document output.
Karen Lawrence, Professional Print Solutions Marketing Manager, Ricoh UK comments: “We believe that print is a vibrant and strong sector and exhibitions such as Northprint continue to provide a key platform in which to demonstrate the value it delivers to business. Along with unveiling our very latest technology, we are pleased to be demonstrating the premium quality of our new flagship Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition.
“Having the right machines in place is only one step towards operating a productive and profitable print room. We passionately believe in working with our customers from the outset to truly understand their business needs and ambitions. This enables us to build dedicated solutions that will help them win business, increase margins and add value to their own client base.”
In addition to Ricoh’s stand presence, it will also play a key role in the Printers’ Profit Zone, with the delivery of master class sessions on sales, profit and finance. Ricoh will also provide practical case studies and participate in debates surrounding the issues faced by professional print providers today.
Ricoh will be promoting its Business Driver Programme, a web-based service designed to help production print customers maximise their investment through resources and services.
Partners on the Ricoh stand will include Objectif Lune, EFI, Mentecaptus, ATI, Duplo and InfoPrint Solutions.
