John Grillos Joins Quark as Vice President of Strategic Partner Sales
Tuesday 08. March 2011 - Quark announced today that John Grillos has joined the company as vice president of strategic partner sales. In his new role, Grillos will be responsible for building ongoing sales relationships with Quarks strategic partners including IBM, Microsoft, and EMC, and driving sales engagement opportunities with enterprise customers in the financial services, manufacturing, government, media, and communications industries.
“John brings to Quark extensive experience creating sales opportunities across the types of vertical markets we target and with the content management system leaders with which we are partnered,” said Mark Benfer, senior vice president of sales in the Americas, Pacific, and Japan for Quark. “With his background in our business, I look forward to working with John as he identifies not only sales opportunities, but opportunities for Quark to work even more closely with our partners to improve our customers publishing processes.”

Prior to joining Quark, Grillos held leadership positions in product marketing, business development, and strategy at IBM, EMC Documentum, and most recently at Workshare Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley and will be based out of California.
