Tuesday 01. March 2011 - The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has launched a new free iPad news application.
“Our goal is to give readers and viewers news when they want it, where they want it, and how they want it,” said St. Louis Post-Dispatch Editor Arnie Robbins. “We are excited to be on four very different platforms, with four very different reading experiences: the daily Post-Dispatch newspaper, STLtoday.com, the phone, and the iPad.”
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch iPad app gives users the news of the morning paper and the big updates from throughout the day, delivered in the convenient reading format of the iPad.
“With more than six mobile apps, a mobile site and now our iPad app, we lead the way in providing the first and best local news and information as the mobile marketplace experiences explosive growth,” said St. Louis Post-Dispatch Publisher Kevin Mowbray.
