Extrema Publicidad keeps step ahead of its competitors with Inca Eagle H printer
Tuesday 01. March 2011 - When Mexican shoe company Coqueta & Audaz wanted to produce shoes that would be bright and colourful and also appeal to the more fashion conscious children they turned to printers Extrema Publicidad. Using their Inca Eagle H, Extrema printed the designs onto the leather which was used to make the children's shoes.
The main challenge for the printer was that the natural leather did not come in uniform shapes and sizes and was sometimes already cut to the shoe shape, which varied from one shoe model to another. With its moving vacuum table and ability to print on a variety of substrates, the Inca Eagle H was able to accommodate this and still produce high quality, durable colour graphics at high speed.
Not only did this keep Extrema Publicidad a step ahead of its competitors, who were still using traditional screen printing methods, but it also earned them a Highly Commended merit in the Inca Digital Excellence Awards in 2010.
