Auspack trade fair in Melbourne (March 22-25): Muller Martini Unveils the Latest Technology for Package Printing
Friday 25. February 2011 - Featuring the slogan "out of the box", the Auspack international packaging exhibition in Melbourne being held from March 22-25 is set to unveil the latest innovations in packaging, processing, machines, materials and technology. Muller Martini will have its own stand at Australasia's largest international packaging exhibition where the company will reveal its latest technology.
At stand 700, specialists from Muller Martini will present the latest market developments to exhibition visitors and offer advice on size-variable web offset printing solutions for flexible packaging, labels and plastic film. Muller Martini has counted itself a specialist in this sector since 2009 when the Alprinta V in its portfolio was joined by the VSOP – another size-variable web offset printing press for package printing.
Both machines offer infinitely variable size options and are perfect for producing flexible packaging solutions and labels. Sizes can now be changed without having to exchange the entire printing insert: Thanks to the servo drive printing press on the Alprinta V, all you have to do it replace the handy carbon-fiber cylinders. To change the print size on VSOP printing presses, only two light cartridges (sleeves) need to be changed.
What’s more, both machines process a wide range of printable substrates, making them extremely flexible solutions that can work with paper, films and composites as well as self-adhesive labels. The Muller Martini printing presses also impress with their short setup times, minimal production waste and low printing plate costs. These features ensure you have everything you need to meet the diverse challenges associated with package and label printing.
