Mohawk Expands Its HP Indigo Paper Line

Monday 21. February 2011 - Mohawk's expanded HP Indigo paper line includes three important new products, and an updated HP Indigo Guide now houses the complete collection.

“This expanded collection and the new guide to the collection show Mohawk’s commitment to providing the HP Indigo community with the best substrate choices on the market today. We believe that our products must be relevant to our customers’ needs, and that is what continues to drive our innovation,” says Chris Harrold, vice president, business development, digital papers.
New HP Indigo papers:
• Mohawk Panoramic Papers: Specialized papers for the production of high-end photo albums, photography, art books, promotional brochures, calendars, and similar publications. Using TRU-Flat binding technology, the Panoramic format allows an image to be printed seamlessly across the gutters within a bound book as the pages lay flat for ease of viewing.
• The Mohawk Studio Collection: A line of pastel, mid-range, and deep rich shades was specifically developed for white ink applications on HP Indigo presses. HP Indigo’s new white ink technology allows creatives to explore the possibilities of white type and full-color printing on colored paper stocks by providing an opaque printing base.
• Mohawk Everyday Digital: A reliable and economical digital house sheet with uncoated smooth, uncoated vellum and coated silk offerings available in all the weights and sizes needed for any project.
The HP Indigo Guide includes Mohawk’s full line of coated, uncoated, textured and colored i-Tone papers, which are legendary for superior ink adhesion, image durability and on-press performance.
