Printbylaser returns for another Suprasetter

Wednesday 16. February 2011 - A year on from buying a Suprasetter A75, Prinbylaser has returned to Heidelberg for a second system and this one, which will be delivered in April, will feature a double cassette loader.

The company is trading out a three year old Suprasetter H75 having experienced the advances incorporated into Heidelberg’s latest generation CtP devices.
Last year the company installed a number of Prinect add ons, including Color Toolbox and Pressroom Manager, so it needs no additional software. Indeed armed with these products it plans this year to undertake a Heidelberg ISO 12647 certification process to prove that it can, and is, achieving sustainable colour standards.
Chris Murley, managing director, says:”We love the Saphira Chem-free plate which just requires a wash gum device. The plate is fully tested and complements the equipment well. We trialled other processless plates but they didn’t work for us. They were too hard.”
The Washington, Tyne and Wear company is continuing its search for new premises which could open the doors to other investment. The company is attending Heidelberg’s open house to investigate the potential of Web2Print. It is an existing Tharstern MIS user and now that this company, Heidelberg and RedTie have created an integrated package Printbylaser wants to assess whether this might be a positive next step in its business development.
Printbylaser handles a range of printing contracts for the NHS Trusts, many other government bodies and also produces a wide range of colour work for Communisis and its customers.
