Enhanced Scanning Features and User-Friendly Operability Help Increase Productivity in Drawing Management

Monday 31. January 2011 - DocuWide 9095?, New A0-Size High-Speed Digital Multifunction Device

Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. will launch DocuWide 9095?, a flagship product for the engineering market, on February 4, 2011. This high-speed digital multifunction device outputs A0-size at nine pages per minute.
A major challenge facing the drawing management in the manufacturing, construction and civil engineering industries, as well as in government facilities departments, is to efficiently share and utilize technical information such as black-and-white drawings, drawings revised with color pens, and color drawings. The new DocuWide 9095? offers enhanced scanning features to digitize documents, and also delivers both high performance and easy operation, thus boosting productivity in drawing management.
First scanning function in black and red for wide-format multifunction devices
Documents with highlights that could only be saved in full color can now be scanned in black and red using the new scanning feature, the first to be implemented in wide-format multifunction devices. In addition to their clear image, scanned color documents can be saved in much smaller size, which enables the data to be used more effectively, such as when sending it by email.
High-speed full-color scanning and multi-transmission features for efficient saving and printing of data
The DocuWide 9095? offers high-speed monochrome as well as color scanning at 152.4 millimeters per secNote1, allowing large volumes of documents to be scanned quickly. In addition, multi-transmission function is equipped as standard, so users can save the scanned documents in a computer’s shared folder, print them from the device, or output them to other multifunction devices or printers on the network through operating on the control panel. Further, the data can be forwarded to up to two computers and five multifunction devices/network printers on the network with a single scanning, enabling the data to be efficiently saved or printed.
Furthermore, the optional software, DW-Scan4 Service, is available for efficiently scanning large volumes in full-color, monochrome, or black and red. To assist document digitization, the DW-Scan4 Service also offers a wide range of features, including renaming a file, deskewing, despeckling, and text insertion while viewing the scanned image.
Note1
For full-color scanning with resolution under 300 dpi.
Large color touch panel for easy operation and high visibility
The DocuWide 9095? comes with a 10.4-inch large color touch panel, similar to the one used for the ApeosPort series multifunction devices for office use. The all-new control panel design with abundant use of graphics has improved usability.
