CIP4 Announces Four New Members

Monday 17. January 2011 - The International Cooperation for the Integration of the Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress (CIP4) organization announced four new members of the organization: Prodist Software, JSpirits, Bodoni Systems, and Synapse Consult. ?

Prodist Software is the supplier of the Management Information System Precal. Prodist, locatedin Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, was founded in 1996 and offers a single solution for all printing techniques including, digital print, sheet-fed offset, web-fed offset, gravure and binderies. Prodist is an innovative company that applies the latest developments in Information Technology to the benefit of her customers. When asked about his motivation for join CIP4, Steven Jansen, Manager Consultancy Services at Prodist said, “We want to increase the interaction with other JDF enabled companies, trough the joint sessions like CIP4 Interoperability events, and we hope to get the desired connections of our customers up and running as soon as possible. Furthermore we would like to extend the number of systems we can interact with.

Many CIP4 members know Christian Gugler, who was involved in the founding of CIP4 while at manroland. Christian is now a freelance consultant that can work with companies that sell JDF-enabled systems and software to compete effectively in the market for integrated and optimized print production solutions. With over 20 years of experience and great contacts throughout the industry, Christian can provide results.

Founded in 2008 and located in Tokyo, Japan, JSpirits provides the PrintSapiens MIS system for printers and the KamiSapiens inventory and order management system for paper wholesalers. JSpirits recently launched the SapiensShopFront Web-to-print front-end which works with PrintSapiens.
