Eastman Increases ESTER SOLVENTS Prices on February 1

Friday 14. January 2011 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Feb. 1, or as contracts allow. T

hese increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.

Eastman Isobutyl Acetate : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.10 /lb ($US 0.10/lb ($US 0.22/kg) ) globally.
Eastman N-Butyl Acetate: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.10 /lb ($US 0.10/lb ($US 0.22/kg) ) globally.
Eastman IBIB: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) globally.
Eastman EEP: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) globally.
