Sun-Times Media Announces Creation of STM Digital

Wednesday 05. January 2011 - Sun-Times Media today announced the creation of a new business operation called STM Digital, which will have responsibility for all Sun-Times Media on-line, mobile and other digital content publication and advertising businesses.

The new division will be led by Fred Lebolt, Senior Vice President and General Manager of STM Digital. In his new role, Mr. Lebolt will have overall responsibility for all Sun-Times Media digital content delivery and advertising sales, and will oversee and coordinate online activities throughout the company. He will continue to oversee company-wide integration of the new cloud-based editorial and content management system which positions Sun-Times Media to more quickly adapt to new digital platforms and opportunities. Mr. Lebolt has most recently served as Sun-Times Media’s Senior Vice President-News Operations. In his new position, he will report to Rick Surkamer, Sun-Times Media President and Chief Operating Officer.
