Quadpack make-up and airless solutions draw crowds at luxe pack
Friday 31. December 2010 - Quadpack demonstrated a number of packaging innovations at Luxe Pack, the annual international luxury goods packaging exhibition in Monaco, from 20-22 October 2010. The recently-unveiled make-up range was launched to a new audience, while Yonwoo's latest airless packs, as ever, attracted much interest. Despite the French strikes, thousands of visitors attended and the event was an unequivocal success.
“Business was booming at Luxe Pack this year,” said Quadpack CEO Tim Eaves. “The show is always a great opportunity to meet our customers and we also hook up with our beauty partners to exchange innovation ideas. This year was special for us as we presented our new make-up range for the first time to a wide audience – and first reactions were extremely positive.”
Visitors to the stand were excited to see Quapack’s innovative solutions for make-up, which include lip gloss, lipsticks, compact cases, foundation sticks and mascaras. The heated mascara, designed to produce voluminous curled eye lashes, caused quite a stir. The double-ended mascara features an eyelash curler on one end which creates a drastic parabolic curl with only two or three applications. The heat-resistant mascara on the other end then holds the eyelashes in place and keeps them curled all day.
Yonwoo’s make-up applications also enjoyed a lot of interest, featuring a new compact case, airless systems with mirrors and more. These and the full range of airless cosmetics packs protect delicate formulas from external contamination and enable hygienic usage. Airless technology also allows the full content of the pack to be used without wastage.
Quadpack’s new double tube drew a small crowd, confirming the growing trend of dual cosmetics treatments. Designed to deliver complementary products, this flexible pack offers excellent price / performance while taking the pain out of a traditionally difficult filling process.
