Eastman Increases ESTER SOLVENTS Prices on January 1

Friday 17. December 2010 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Jan. 1, or as contracts allow. These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.

EASTMAN N-Butyl Acetate : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN EEP : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.08 /lb ($US 0.08/lb ($US 0.176/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN Isobutyl Acetate : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN N-Propyl Acetate : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN Isopropyl Acetate : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.08 /lb ($US 0.08/lb ($US 0.176/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN IBIB : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) globally.
