South Coast Systems exhibits slicing innovations for the first time at Pro2Pac
Wednesday 15. December 2010 - South Coast Systems has chosen to present its new Avery Berkel XM weighing scale range for the first time at Pro2pac 2011. This innovative range has colour touch-screen technology with an intuitive user interface providing fast, direct access to hundreds of products. The machine automatically generates a keyboard showing best selling products, which means there is no need to memorise or search for PLUs, and reduces operator's time and effort.
The new XM range includes mono block (XM 100) and two piece models (XM 400 series) as well as a bakery printer (XM 600). All models also come with a label and receipt printing capability. The innovative feature of the ValuMax is the weighing module technology which is always level to ensure an accurate weighing performance.
South Coast Systems is also showcasing its new Sure Slice meat slicer range at Pro2Pac. Developed to ensure that each model is made to the highest standards and specific market sectors the Sure Slice provides the ideal balance between price and performance. The range covers all sectors of the food industry from simple manual economy models for food service outlets, through to higher performance machines for retail, up to computerised models for semi-industrial applications. The new non-electrical Volano Range offers traditional fly-wheel slicing for cooked meats and bacon, ideal for Italian and Spanish style hams.
