Eastman Increases ALCOHOLS Prices on January 1

Wednesday 15. December 2010 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Jan. 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.
EASTMAN N-Propyl Alcohol : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN Isopropyl Alcohol : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.08 /lb ($US 0.08/lb ($US 0.176/kg) ) globally.
