All Nine Hagadone properties in Montana now live on DTI

Wednesday 15. December 2010 - Publications using both DTI Advertising and DTI ContentPublisher solutions

Digital Technology International (DTI) has announced that Hagadone Corporation is now live on DTI Advertising and DTI ContentPublisher at all nine of their Montana properties.
“This new installation achieves Hagadone’s modernisation goals, and gives us a platform that we believe will meet publishing challenges now, and in the future,” said Bill Tunison, director of Hagadone Corporate Information Technology.
“The go-live was the smoothest yet. We’ve gone through DTI go-lives before [at other Hagadone properties]. This go-live completes system upgrades for all our newspaper properties for ROP, Classified, Accounts Receivables, Page Planning and Pagination, and gives us a base from which to support both printed and web-based journalism.”
“This installation provides Hagadone Corporation the ability to reduce costs by centralizing all ad order entry, production and pagination on one set of servers at their corporate offices in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho,” said Dan Paulus, VP sales Americas, DTI. “The company is now able to easily cross-sell advertising, support multiple new product offerings, and improve its accounting operations. This is a best-practices approach to systems integration, in action.”
In addition to the new DTI advertising system, DTI ContentPublisher, a single system for creating and delivering content to all media channels, allows the Hagadone newspapers unlimited sharing of their information and media assets. Powered by a high performance multidimensional database, the Hagadone newspapers now enjoy a totally integrated workflow and a collaborative creation and production environment across the group. Hagadone has already installed more than 60 seats of DTI Advertising in their Idaho, Montana, Washington, Wisconsin, and Hawaii properties.
Both DTI Advertising and DTI ContentPublisher are available as an on-premise installation, as implemented at Hagadone Corporation, or in DTI Cloud, DTI’s popular SaaS cloud computing offering.
The privately held Hagadone Corporation owns and operates a diverse group of companies mainly in the Publishing, Newspaper and Hospitality industries. It’s Montana newspaper properties are the: Daily Inter Lake, The Western News, Whitefish Pilot, Hungry Horse News, BigFork Eagle, Lake County Leader, Advertiser, Mineral Independent and Clark Fork Valley Press.
