Color-Logic Releases Digital Version of Color-Logic Process Metallic Printing System

Thursday 09. December 2010 - Color-Logic has released a digital version of its popular Color-Logic Process Metallic Printing System. Previously available only for offset lithography, the system enables licensed printers to produce striking metallic effects on certain digital presses produced by Hewlett-Packard Indigo and Xeikon. The digital version of the Color-Logic software is immediately available.

Announcing the release of the digital version of the Color-Logic Process Metallic Printing System, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves commented: “The digital version of our popular metallic color printing system has undergone extensive testing by several digital printers and has produced outstanding results on labels, folding cartons, and collateral literature printed digitally on several different press models. Hewlett-Packard Indigo and Xeikon users with industrial machines capable of five-color printing (white plus CMYK) and running metallic substrate can utilize the Color-Logic process to produce as many as 250 different metallic hues. The Color-Logic software incorporates the metallic substrate into the design to create an effect equivalent to that achieved when running offset lithographic images with metallic ink.”
