Boreal Water Collection to Become a “National Distributor,” With Multi-Phased Eco-Friendly Growth Strategy
Thursday 09. December 2010 - Boreal Water Collection Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BRWC) informs its shareholders that we intend to actively pursue a California based bottling facility as part of our stated multi-phased and aggressive growth strategy to become a "national distributor."
Through acquisition and development of business alliances, and its selective product offerings, Boreal Water Collection will expand by selling licenses to select well-established distributors, as well as developing its own national corporate accounts. The expansion plans and environmentally friendly diversification of product lines will fulfill the sales development mandate as set forth by Boreal’s Board of Directors.
Working with its strong points, which includes exclusive water exploitation rights, Boreal Water will leverage its fully integrated services to continue being a dominant force in the refreshing drinks market. With bottled water being the most vibrant segment (approximately 38%), designer varieties and premium private label water will continue to be Boreal’s focus and strength. According to Beverage Spectrum Magazine, year to date sales figures and percentage change over last year, Private Label water is a $1 billion annual business that grew by 10.3%, while National Brands continue to see a steady decline.
Today’s consumers are constantly being bombarded with various advertisements and public health alerts. Being both health and environmentally conscious, the public is receptive to private label eco-friendly bottled water. This is an effective and highly desirable vehicle to promote and market relevant brand awareness campaigns.
