RadiumOne Signs Exclusive Partnership With American Media Inc.

Tuesday 07. December 2010 - Publisher of Men's Fitness, Shape, Playboy, Star, Natural Health and more, Teams with RadiumOne to Offer Advertising Partners Reach to AMI Audiences Across the Web

RadiumOne, the revolutionary new online advertising network that allows publishers to extend their audience and multiply inventory, today announced an exclusive partnership with American Media, Inc. that will offer innovative opportunities to advertising partners.
Previously, publishers have been limited to selling only the advertising inventory located directly on their sites. RadiumOne’s platform will give publishers unprecedented opportunities to sell new inventory by offering their partners the ability to reach the site’s audience on other premium web sites in the Comscore 500.
“We know that our advertising partners come to us because of the invaluable audience reach we are able to offer,” said Robin Keller, VP of Digital Media at American Media, Inc. “This partnership will give us new capabilities for reaching our brands audiences even when they travel to other sites, greatly expanding our inventory beyond impressions on our 14 online properties. Our advertising partners will gain new reach and scale with the right audiences on any campaign they run on AMI properties.”
American Media, Inc. is the leading publisher of celebrity journalism and health and fitness magazines in the U.S. These include Star, Shape, Men’s Fitness, Fit Pregnancy, Natural Health, and National Enquirer. In addition to print properties, AMI manages 14 different web sites that reach over 10 million readers every month.
“AMI reaches one of the most prized audiences on the Web, but they shouldn’t lose opportunities to monetize these valuable readers when they travel to other premium sites,” said Gurbaksh Chahal, CEO and Founder of RadiumOne. “Our network will make inventory sell outs a circumstance of the past for AMI and other publishers. We’ll be able to deliver new premium monetization opportunities for publishers because their advertisers will still get the right engagement, with the right consumer on a top-tier site.”
RadiumOne will also utilize its pioneering social retargeting capabilities, AudienceMatch for Publishers, to identify “lookalike users” to those on AMI properties and allow the publisher to offer ads to these users across top-tier sites.
RadiumOne will be working with AMI’s Women’s Active Lifestyle Network and the Young Men’s Network. The company has long been recognized as an innovator in creating opportunities for its partners as AMI created the concept of 360º marketing programs by being the first company to integrate editorial, print, digital, mobile and events into one package for advertisers.
