HEUFT innovations for maximum product safety

Monday 29. November 2010 - HEUFT SYSTEMTECHNIK GMBH will present itself with new and further developments for the inline quality inspection of food and healthcare products at the Emballage 2010. The company will be showing highly efficient systems for the precise identification of product and packaging faults from 22 to 25 November on Stand E 002 and Stand F 130 in Hall 5a as well as in the Pack Innovation area in Hall 6 of the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.

The leading manufacturer of quality control systems for bottling plants has now also utilised its know-how for the food and healthcare sectors by cleverly transferring its technologies to tasks for these sectors. Unique technological features such as the particularly low-radiation, pulsed X-ray measurement or the HEUFT reflexx high-performance image processing system form the basis of the ground-breaking new and further developments for the sustainable inspection of products and packaging. They can be seen live and in action at the Emballage 2010 exhibition. The following HEUFT systems will be shown at the trade fair:
• the HEUFT eXaminer XAC, honoured as “Pack Innovation 2010”, which tracks down foreign objects in containers filled with liquid, paste-like or powdery products and saves room and cleaning costs due to its compact and hygiene-friendly construction
• the new HEUFT moCheck which examines empty moulds for the production of chocolate, chocolates, toffees, fondants and sweets for product residue
• the HEUFT VX ATEX which achieves the higher speeds demanded by the market during the precise fill level detection of aerosol containers in the Ex area by replacing traditional weighing systems with the clearly more efficient HEUFT X-ray technology
• the HEUFT VX OCR which checks the presence and correctness of the contents of product marking such as best-before dates, barcodes or 2D codes on food packaging
• the new HEUFT InLine IS for an all-around empty bottle inspection with automatic brand changes at the touch of a button
• the HEUFT basic which, among other things, checks the fill level, internal pressure, closures and labels of filled containers
Faulty products and packaging are already detected by the systems for the quality inspection of food and healthcare products at the production plant. Proven HEUFT rejectors withdraw them before they can reach the market. In this way costly and reputation damaging liability and recall cases are effectively prevented.
