Kodak and Global Information Distribution, Inc., Announce New Service Agreement
Thursday 25. November 2010 - Kodak and Global Information Distribution, Inc. (GID) announce a new service and support agreement for GIDs Silent Cubes Systems in the United States and Canada.
Kodaks experienced team of Service and Support professionals will provide a range of Help Desk and on-site maintenance service offerings for the Silent Cubes WORM Solution storage units. The hard disk-based units provide an efficient, secure alternative to digital tapes and optical media for businesses long-term storage and data needs.
Through the new agreement, Silent Cubes customers will receive the option of Next Business Day, Priority, and 7 day/24 hour support from KODAK Service and Support. All Silent Cubes will be supported from Single Cube 4, 8 and 16 TB to multiple cubes attached to one Head Unit. “KODAK Service and Support provides our customers with the added value of on-site personnel who have the knowledge and expertise to service long-term storage needs,” said Ernstfried Driesen, President and CEO, GID. “Kodaks breadth of industry experience in service and customer satisfaction provides users with the peace of mind for a reliable installation and an easily accessible, trusted service organization.
