Gerresheimer: pharmaceutical primary packaging products for the growth market of Russia

Tuesday 23. November 2010 - Pharmtech in Moscow will be opening its doors to a technology-minded trade public for the twelfth time this year. It will also be a source of impetus to the Gerresheimer Group, which has been catering to the needs of existing and potential customers from its own representative office in Moscow since the beginning of the year.

The Gerresheimer Group’s unique spectrum of glass and plastic products for the pharma industry will be on show at stand C22 in pavilion 75B on the fair days from November 23 – 26, 2010.

The Gerresheimer Group’s outstanding expertise in the two pharma packaging worlds of glass and plastics, plus its comprehensive product portfolio, are the reasons why it has such an excellent positioning. The company’s range of glass products alone extends from syringe systems to cartridges, vials to ampoules, bottles and jars to technical/chemical glass containers made of both tubular and container glass in all the relevant glass categories. In its recently extended plastics division, Gerresheimer manufactures a diverse range of containers and innovative systems for both liquid and solid pharmaceutics.

“The new representative office that we opened this year enables us to provide a better and more direct service to our customers in Russia and neighboring countries and to position ourselves on the basis of our glass and plastics competence in the very promising Russian market,” said Dr. Markus Piduhn, Executive Vice President Tubular Glass Converting Europe & Asia.

Krzyzstof Dabrowski, Sales Director Plastic Packaging at Gerresheimer Boleslawiec, will be providing an informative presentation on the background and outlook for plastics on November 25 entitled Perfect Plastic Packaging for US and European Market -Duma Twist-Off with seal. The presentation will be given in the Pharmtechprom Forum between 11.25 and 11.55 a.m. and it will outline international market trends as well as explain the advantages of standardized plastic packaging products in global markets.
