Label Plus, a leading label printer in Lebanon
Monday 08. November 2010 - Established in 1999 in Beirut, Lebanon, Label Plus started production on a Comco narrow web press; Comco has been acquired by Mark Andy Inc. in recent years. Mr. Haytham Sinno, owner and Managing Director of Label Plus acquired his first Mark Andy 2200 in 2006 at the Labelexpo in Brussels and last year expanded its machine park and bought a Mark Andy 2200 XL. A few months later in 2010 Label Plus purchased its third Mark Andy machine, also a 2200 XL.
Today, Label Plus offers 6 color print labels to its customers mainly in the food and beverage, detergent and security seals industries in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
The Mark Andy 2200 XL is designed for a maximum of versatility and flexibility to support any expanding business, enabling the production of labels for diverse applications. From the automotive, industrial, health and beauty, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical, wine and spirits, food and beverage to the general consumer market, the 2200 XL can produce labels according to the requirements of the different markets.
In a variety of sizes and shapes, the labels can be designed to provide key product information, brand information, instruction as to the intended use, function or protection of the product and if required, to make the products traceable throughout their life cycle such as for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical markets. At the same time the labeling must ensure the package to remain attractive like in the food and beverage, and cosmetic markets or even resistant to different elements and environmental conditions for instance in the automobile and industrial markets.
The Mark Andy 2200 XL features an easy operation with simple access to all press functions and control through a state-of-the-art touch screen. Additionally faster changeover times can be noticed thanks to the self-aligning cassettes providing an effortless removal and installation, and through its Quick Change drawers.
Along with a vertical dancer which enhances substrate control, an advanced web tension management leads to a higher quality product and more throughput, also supported by the 2200 XL robust print stations. Its heavy duty die station allows the machine a longer life, a better cut consistency and less friction and heat build-up.
UV flexo capable, the 2200 XL delivers a consistent and top inline cold foiling quality, cost-effective and with minimal wastage. As well fitted with superior drying and curing systems, the machine offers highest quality coating finish.
