Jeffrey Wilks Named Senior Vice President Of Brand Marketing for USA TODAY
Thursday 21. October 2010 - Jeffrey Wilks has been named to the newly created position of senior vice president of brand marketing for USA TODAY. Wilks will be responsible for overseeing brand marketing, client solutions, communications and event marketing and research at USA TODAY. He will be headquartered at USA TODAY's New York City offices. The announcement was made today by USA TODAY president and publisher David L. Hunke.
“We are excited about the experience Jeffrey brings to USA TODAY and know he will be a catalyst in re-igniting the relationship our consumers and customers have with our brand,” said Dave Hunke. “His background working with world class marketers and developing integrated marketing communications programs across all media will provide USA TODAY with both a unique perspective and differentiated skills we know will help grow our business.”
Wilks joins USA TODAY with a 25 year career leading preeminent marketing communications companies to support the business objectives of Fortune 500 and other leading organizations. He most recently was chief operating officer and president of business solutions of Enfatico. Prior to Enfatico, Wilks was president, IBM Brand Services for Ogilvy & Mather, having also served in positions as managing director, strategic growth & development and senior partner of 360 Communications Planning. His previous experience includes chief operating officer of Bouchez Kent + Company, and executive vice president, managing director of BBDO.
Wilks is a graduate of St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in English. He and his wife, Susan, and two daughters reside in New Canaan, Conn.
