EXCITING DEVELOPMENTS AT GULF PRINT & PACK

Wednesday 13. October 2010 - With five months to go until Gulf Print & Pack, taking place at Dubai Airport Expo from 14-17 March 2011, the industry is gearing up for the most important must-attend commercial and package printing event in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.

Many international industry leaders, such as Kodak, Flint Group, Nilpeter, EskoArtwork, AUER and Colorbit ME have confirmed stands. There is also a lot of interest from Saudi Arabian and Lebanese manufacturers with Al Dana Binding and Indevco having already booked stands at the show.

At the show this year there will be a number of working machines on display with many exhibitors choosing Gulf Print & Pack to launch their new products. Delegations are expected to attend from across the MENA region (this includes: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Kenya).

There will be a series of workshops which will include discussion panels over the four days of the show with the first day focusing on flexible packaging; the second day on carton and box production; the third day on labeling and web printing; and the fourth day on digital printing. Not to be missed topics include:

Day 1:

Printing and converting flexible packaging
A panel discussion looking at the Gulf printing and packaging market in perspective

Day 2:

Carton printing workshop

Day 3:

A package print technology workshop

Day 4:

An introduction to digital
An inkjet workshop

Roger Pellow, Gulf Print & Pack Managing Director said: “We are looking forward to being in Dubai with visitors and exhibitors who will be able to create new valuable partnerships, network and generate new business. We have a very strong educational workshop program lined up designed to share our knowledge with the commercial and package printing industry, which will prove extremely valuable to all those printers, converters and manufactures who will be attending Gulf Print & Pack in March.”
