Four Pees and callas software strengthen relationship

Four Pees, an innovative international sales and marketing organization, and callas software, the Berlin-based pioneer in PDF technology have agreed that Four Pees will take on all responsibilities for marketing and sales of the callas pdfToolbox and pdfaPilot product lines. Product management will be taken on as a joint effort to leverage technology vision and market feedback. The agreement is effective as of October 1 2010. callas software will continue to serve its OEM customers directly.

callas software and Four Pees started their relationship in the beginning of 2008, with Four Pees taking on marketing and PR activities for callas, later extending it to sales and distribution for specific regions. Now, Four Pees will take on worldwide sales and marketing activities with regards to the callas end-user products. Also on the product management level there will be a very close collaboration, bringing together two industry technology experts Olaf Drümmer and David van Driessche backed by strong development and sales & marketing input. As such, callas software will further focus on what it has been doing tremendously well over the past years: developing great technology.

Developer of the preflight technology used in Adobe Acrobat, callas software has a range of desktop and server products allowing users to either interactively or automatically process PDF files. callas softwares pdfToolbox product range is aimed at the print and publishing market, its pdfaPilot products are aimed at bringing reliable PDF-based long-term archiving to a variety of industries.
“The pdfToolbox product range has revolutionized the way of handling PDFs for print.” says David van Driessche, CTO at Four Pees. “Instead of having to look for errors, dig through reports and edit individual objects, it just fixes files for the production process they are intended for and uses breakthrough visualizer technology to highlight any remaining potential problems.
