Fuji Xerox Ranked Highest in J.D. Power Asia Pacific Color Printer Customer Satisfaction Study

Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. was ranked highest in the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2010 Japan Color Printer Customer Satisfaction Index StudySM, which was released on September 16 by J.D. Power Asia Pacific, Inc., a global marketing information service company.
The study examines four factors that contribute to overall customer satisfaction with regard to color printers, respectively weighted with the degree of influence upon the level of satisfaction. The factors include product (27 percent), cost (12 percent), sales response (24 percent), and maintenance services (37 percent). Fuji Xerox received the highest scores in three factors; product, cost and sales response.
Customers showed a high level of satisfaction with the quality and usability of the products, which resulted in better scores for products and maintenance services comparing to the previous year’s study, carrying Fuji Xerox to the overall top position this year.

J.D. Power Asia Pacific has been conducting customer satisfaction studies for color printers used in offices since 1997. The company conducted the 2010 study during May and June, targeting business entities in Japan with 30-299 employees, and received 1,474 responses.
