HighWater Products Ltd delivers Pythons to Anasiscor in Portugal
Friday 24. September 2010 - HighWater Products Ltd is pleased to announce the shipment of two Python 4 page Violet CtP systems to Anasiscor in Portugal for use with Fuji Pro-V low chemistry plates. The Python which is manufactured at the HighWater production facility in Cheltenham UK has seen significant increase in low chemistry installations since the launch of Agfa Azura V and Fuji Pro-V plates.
Peter Flynn Sales Director at HighWater Products comments “Violet CTP has certainly come a long way since Agfa started the Violet revolution with their silver based plate technology. In the past year the situation has changed as we have accredited two Violet Photopolymer low chemistry plates from leading manufacturers. Violet diode imaging is achieving a substantial market share of the platesetters sold, and gaining an increasing share of the plate supply market.
Some of the new screening technologies that used to be the strong hold of Thermal CtP plates can now be produced to a very high quality standard using Violet plate technology. The question for all purchasers of CTP should be throughput, cost of ownership, environmental issues and preferred suppliers, rather than what is really now a non-issue, namely Thermal or Violet technology.
You only have to look at the success Anasiscor our Portugueses distributor is having with Violet low chemistry installations, they have worked closely with their customers to demonstrate the excellent total cost of ownership this technology offers.
Leopoldo Lopes Managing Director at Anasiscor comments ” “We are delighted with the success our company has achieved combining the Fuji Pro-V low chemistry plate technology and the high quality, affordable Cobra and Python Violet CtP system from HighWater Products. This bundle offers our customers a fantastic return on their investment and reduces carbon footprint considerably.
