Friday 24. September 2010 - Ultimate launches world's fastest imposition software at GraphExpo

Ultimate Technographics Inc. today announced the release of its 64-bit version of the world’s fastest imposition solution at GraphExpo in Chicago. Impostrip OnDemand Scalable Server Edition released earlier this year was designed to bring more speed and efficiency in high volume printing. At GraphExpo, Ultimate will be showing its newest version leveraging the power of multiple core 64-bit computers to achieve even better results.

The prototype was first staged in Chicago last fall to bring home the ‘Worth of Look’ mention after being presented in HP’s booth amongst the partner solutions adapted for the HP Inkjet T300 press. Since, Ultimate made successful installations in two areas, high volume/short run of books and very high volume transpromotional printing. With the new development, the Impostrip OnDemand Scalable server will be able to leverage the 64-bit computer capabilities and overcome some of the limitations inherent to the 32-bit computers.

‘’The Scalable Imposition Server Edition of Impostrip OnDemand leverages the power of today’s multiple-core computers now including the 64-bit platform, says Joanne David, President and CEO of Ultimate. This exclusive solution is designed to integrate most PDF workflows in a very simple fashion; in addition, the Scalable Server Edition offers more automation regarding job variables for digital web printing, for book manufacturing and finishing, permitting the same workflow to process various job configurations on the fly.’’

The new 64-bit version is available to customers on the Titanium service plan as a free upgrade. For more information: info@imposition.com
