ECRM ANNOUNCES EXCITING COUPON REDEMPTION CAMPAIGN FOR WORKMATES SOFTWARE AND RIP UPGRADES
Friday 03. September 2010 - ECRM today announced a promotional campaign for WorkMates and RIP upgrade offerings. Available immediately, website visitors can receive a coupon that will save 15% to 33% off purchases of RIP upgrades, RIPMate Plus, WorkMates, and all layered options.
The coupons are immediately redeemable at any one of the vast number of dealers in the ECRM worldwide network.
Available Product Coupons
Coupons are available from ECRM for several software solutions, including:
Ø RIPMate v8: Powered by the latest in Harlequin RIP technology, ECRMs RIPMate v8 enhances any users productivity by delivering major performance enhancements for rendering and trapping complex transparencies. And several new features in v8 accelerate the incorporation and processing of PDFs in production workflows.
Ø RIPMate Plus: RIPMate Plus contains software modules that enable remote control of the RIPing process. Any network workstation can now be used to view, roam and zoom (in or out) on any part of the rasterized image for soft proofing, as well as hold, release or re-direct a job without going to the physical RIP station.
Ø WorkMates 4.0: Earlier this year at Graphics of the Americas, ECRM launched WorkMates 4.0, an entry-level workflow solution that greatly enhances the production capabilities of prepress operators. With WorkMates 4.0, users are provided more automated features that control job priorities, file archiving and deletion choices, defined workflow mapping for files, and greater access to job history information.
WorkMates Options
The coupons are also redeemable for individual WorkMates modules. These modules are a group of six add-ons that plug into WorkMates to enhance speed, precision, and flexibility.
Ø TrapMate: TrapMate uses object-based/vector-based rules to determine where traps are applied. This in-RIP trapping has full in-color support (both CMYK and spot colors, and shaded fill support), and easily accommodates special inks. Trap sets are created in RIPMates TrapPro Management dialog where specified parameters are configured and saved in the RIP for reuse.
Ø CIPMate: By adding CIPMate to RIPMate, the printer saves make-ready time and ink. PDF files are created at the same time the plate is produced, eliminating the need to print the file twice. Simple set-up is handled through the Device Dialog.
Ø ScreenMate: ScreenMate is based on Harlequin HDS screening, offering increased sharpness over conventional screening methods. Additionally, HDS has corrected many of the deficiencies in other stochastic screening techniques to provide a robust and high quality screening solution for a wide variety of printing applications.
Ø ProofMate for Epson, HP, Canon and Encad: Adding the ProofMate module to WorkMates closes the color proofing loop. By using the same RIP for proofing and plates, users are ensured of data integrity. ProofMate includes Harlequin Error Diffusion Screening designed specifically for inkjet devices, thus avoiding image artifacts in color proofs. ProofMate also comes with preset ICC color profiles, including calibration sets and full color profiles optimized for a variety of ink/media/resolution combinations, providing an ideal “out-of-the-box” color proofing tool.
Ø ColorMate: ColorMate provides tools for color process control, delivering accurate, consistent and predictable color reproduction, and full support for industry-standard ICC profiles (including device ink profiles). By using in-RIP Color Management, decisions about color and output devices can be targeted (or re-targeted) to a particular printing process or proofer at the last moment without requiring any changes in the job itself.
Ø ICCMate: ICCMate (SetGoldPro) is a wizard-based color utility tool that creates high quality gray balance or “Golden State” input, emulation, and output profiles optimized for RIPMate to satisfy todays color-accurate proofing requirements. Color-accurate proofing is only possible if devices can be calibrated and profiles can be optimized for a given link, substrate, screening and resolution combination. ICCMate draws from the latest Graphic Arts Community research to deliver solutions for color profiling, resulting in greater color accuracy.
