Karen McNee to take on new PaperCo marketing role

Wednesday 01. September 2010 - PaperCo has announced that Karen McNee is to become regional marketing manager, reporting to head of marketing Charles Eaton. This is an entirely new role within PaperCo and one that will allow her to take the experience she has had in corporate sales and product promotion for Donald Murray Paper (part of PaperCo) and help other divisions to promote themselves and their products even more effectively.

Charles Eaton explains: “PaperCo is a top ranking national merchant with an emphasis on strong local service and support. By making this appointment, Karen will be well positioned to take best in class marketing ideas and actions and implement them locally, retaining the strong local influence but dovetailing campaigns to fit with the wider national marketing strategy.”
It is a welcome challenge for Karen McNee who says: “In taking on this role I am switching from a sales to a wider business function with a lot more travel and the opportunity to work alongside the regional directors and local teams, helping them to bring to fruition the many and varied ideas they have in terms of PR, product promotions and local events.”
The operating divisions of PaperCo include: Dixon & Roe, Mason’s Paper, North West Paper, Donald Murray Paper, Rothera & Brereton, North West Paper, Southern Paper and Reel Paper.
