VISUAL MARKING SYSTEMS ON TARGET WITH CROSSBOW PRINTING ON INCA SPYDER
Friday 27. August 2010 - Visual Marking Systems, USA has been able to develop and expand their digital printing capabilities, in part thanks to the Inca Spyder.
When approached by Horton Mfg to decorate a crossbow limb with a printing technique other than heat transfer, they had several problems to overcome. The colour match and repeatability of the pattern was of the highest importance and the decorated limb needed to accept a supplied matte clear coat sprayed on in a paint booth. However, the main challenge for them was to print quality graphics on flat and curved surfaces that could withstand extreme bending. Having eliminated these problems through their new technology and the Inca Spyder 320+w, not only were they rewarded with a satisfied customer but they also won an Inca Digital Excellence (IDEA) Awards in the Product Decoration and Specialty Products category.
