DEVELOP exhibits strong growth in first quarter 2010

Monday 23. August 2010 - DEVELOP embarked on 2010 with a strong growth spurt in the first quarter. Turnover rose by 33 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.

“The market success of some new multifunctional systems and increased demand for software solutions and services have mainly contributed to this,” reports Dirk Roos, President at Develop GmbH. “I think there is a good prospect that we will exceed our ambitious sales targets in the second quarter, too,” states DEVELOP’s President.

According to Roos “Our figures and our dealers’ experience prove that the ´look after the pennies` mentality is finally a thing of the past. Users are once again demanding high product quality and innovative solutions, which offer great longevity and contribute to process optimisation.” During economically difficult 2009, the company largely avoided cutting prices and instead invested in new products and solutions. Amongst others the latest product innovations include the web-based store+find software solution, which facilitates comprehensive electronic document management, and Pcounter or Pcounter Embedded software, which contributes to greater cost transparency and more efficient use of existing systems. “The need for such intelligent, networked solutions for digital document input and output will increase more strongly in future,” predicts Dirk Roos. DEVELOP has recently started collaborating with powerful partners in this segment. The company has also recently expanded its network of qualified dealers and the range of training options. “We are banking on long-term success – for our customers and for our partners, and of course for our company itself – with steadily improving service, high-quality products and customer-orientated solutions, which take into account increasingly complex requirements,” according to Roos.
